The project enhances local employment opportunities and improves the quality of the labor force in the Badakhshon Region.  The project: 

  • Offers scholarships to Afghan citizens from the Badakhshon Region to take vocational training courses on English language, Cashier/Bookkeeping and Information technology at the University of Central Asia’s campus in Khorugh, Tajikistan;
  • Delivers Training of Trainer programs in vocational education to Afghan learners based on the developed internationally benchmarked curriculum;
  • Strengthens the ability of the Khorugh campus to serve as a regional hub for vocational training.
